Humidity is a natural
occurring element in our environment. Enclosed environments such
as a Boat or RV are subject to damage if the environment is too
humid, or if there isn't adequate circulation to reduce the amount
of humidity or condensation that occurs naturally in our environment.
You've waited years to purchase your investment, protect your investment
through ongoing, proactive maintenance. Reducing the amount of humidity
in an environment can help you maintain the lifetime and enjoyment
you receive from your investment over time. If you store your RV
or Boat off season, it's a good idea to consider a dehumidifier
to reduce the amount of humidity and subsequent damage that can
occur from it.
Dri-Z-Air , manufactured in the
USA is one of the lowest cost alternatives to a mechanical dehumidifying
device. It's non-electrical, patented design make it one of the
easiest and cost effective devices to use for moisture removal,
better yet, it actually removes moisture from the air and is easy
to use. It works by itself with little maintenance or monitoring.
Make the off season less of a chore and put one, or several Dri-Z-Air's
to work for you and your hard earned investments. You'll
appreciate the difference next season when your back on the road
or back on the water.

How to get rid of Mildew in your basement?
The first thing to consider is where the problem is coming from.
Narrowing in on the source will help you develop a plan to eradicate
or control the amount of moisture in your basement. If you have
a consistent leak or seepage coming through your basement wall,
you may want to contact a Water Damage or Leak Professional who
can assist you in determining how the Water is coming from the Outside
of your house into your basement. Most basements do have some moisture
and poor air circulation which leads to Mildew and that "Musty"
Basement smell we all hate and loath.
We recommend 1 Dri-Z-Air Unit for every 10 X 10 space you are trying
to protect. We also recommend placing several units in your basement
at varying heights so you can maximize the benefits Dri-Z-Air offers.
You can apply the same methodology to ANY room you are trying to
protect. Dri-Z-Air helps reduce the Mildew in your basement by removing
excess moisture from the air. If you have a consistent leak that
is causing the Mildew, you should consult a Professional to assist
you in correcting the problem. Dri-Z-Air works great for most basements
that do not have a major water leak or problem.
If you have a moist or musty basement, our products can help you
maintain the moisture in the air to a suitable level.

Units, one at the front, one in the middle and one in the back.

My Boat has bad breath, what should I do?
Boats & Water are a great thing, unless the water sticks around
the inside of your boat while it's idle in storage. Dri-Z-Air is
used in thousands of boats across the country during storage and
lay up to reduce the amount of moisture in the interior or cabin.
Depending upon the size of your boat, stick with the 10x10 rule,
1 unit for every 10x10 space you are trying to protect. Using Dri-Z-Air
will help reduce the amount of moisture in your boat during storage.
Most often, it's this moisture that causes your boat to smell "Musty",
especially if your boat has been in storage for a while. Be sure
to remove the Dri-Z-Air unit(s) before you move or transport your
boat. The liquid will continue to collect moisture if it's spilled.

How do I remove that Musty Smell from my Carpet?
First you need to determine whether or not you have a leak that
is causing the moisture to build up in a certain area. Fix the leak
first! If you have Pets, you may have an entirely different problem.
Pet Stains almost always have an ammonia smell associated with them.
If this isn't your case, you may have a house that doesn't "breath"
well, that is, excess moisture is having a tough time exiting your
house so it collects in certain points of a room. Dri-Z-Air can
help by reducing the amount of excess moisture from the air. Excess
moisture is one of the reasons a house or room can smell "Musty".
Dri-Z-Air is an inexpensive choice to the more expensive, mechanical
dehumidifiers. Dri-Z-Air will remove excess moisture which should
clear up that "Musty" smell you've been experiencing.
Depending on the size of your room, we recommend 1 Dri-Z-Air unit
for every 10x10 space you are trying to protect. You can experiment
with several units (They are refillable and you only have to buy
the unit once). Place several units at varying heights for maximum
efficiency. You'll be surprised after finding water in the bucket
after a couple of days.

"We have an 1840 house, and the first floor sometimes suffers
from dampness --especially this summer, when we had a lot of rain.
We noticed some mildew on some of clothes and shoes stored in a
downstairs closet -- and tried dehumidifiers, airing the closet,
etc., but nothing worked.... until we ordered your system. Problem
has now disappeared, including the strong damp odor. We're very
satisfied, and particularly pleased that this was a very inexpensive

I have Mold & Mildew in my Bathroom, Can
Dri-Z-Air help?
If your bathroom doesn't have a fan & you usually open the window
to let the moist air escape, Dri-Z-Air can help. Even after you
close your window, there is still a good amount of moisture in the
air that can cause Mold or Mildew in your Bathroom. I currently
use 1 Dri-Z-Air Unit on the floor behind my toilet and it has been
working well to reduce the condensation on my windows and the Musty
smell stagnant moisture produces.

My clothing has Mildew on it, Can Dri-Z-Air help?
Absolutely. We carry two products that can assist you in removing
excess moisture from the air safely and effectively.
Closets
If you store your clothing in a closet, place 1 Dri-Z-Air unit
on the closet floor. Closets generally don't have good air circulation
which can lead to condensation build up. Dri-Z-Air will remove excess
moisture from the enclosed environment which will reduce the amount
of moisture which can cause mold or mildew damage in clothing. It's
non-electric and odorless. You'll be surprised at how much moisture
collects in less than 1 month. Closet Dehumidifier
Storage Lockers or Trunks
If you use a storage locker or trunk to store your clothing and
formal wear, use 1 or 2 - 8 oz packages of DRIERITE Desiccant in
the storage container prior to closing the trunk or locker for the
season. Our 8 oz packages of desiccant are ideal for enclosed areas
and safe to use around clothing or food items. 2 packages of desiccant
will last 2-3 months depending on the amount of moisture in the
air.

How does Dri-Z-Air Remove Moisture from the
Air?
The Dri-Z-Air Unit was designed for air to circulate around the
entire basket which contains Crystals that absorb excess moisture
from the air. This patented design works better than most competitive
products and needs little maintenance or monitoring. It's odorless,
non-flammable, and Non-Electric. Because the process is gradual,
excess moisture is slowly removed from the environment. During the
first week of use, you will notice little droplets of water in the
bucket, the second week, more water will be present until the 3rd
or 4th week when you will notice a significant amount of water in
the bucket. Once the Crystals are gone, empty the bucket and re-supply
the basket with a new bag of Crystals. If your bucket fills in less
than 3 weeks, add another unit to the room to balance out the collection
of moisture (You may have more moisture in the room than one unit
can handle.) All Units come with one 13 ounce package of refill
crystals. If you run out of Crystals, you can order
more from our online store.

Why use Dri-Z-Air instead of an Electric Dehumidifier?
Most likely, the reason you are here is a result of a moisture
problem. Dri-Z-Air costs much less than an electric dehumidifying
device and is a sensible alternative to purchasing a full blown
electric dehumidifier for your house, RV, Crawlspace or Boat. Dri-Z-Air
was designed for smaller, enclosed spaces that have excess moisture
in them. With that in mind, you will want to focus your application
of Dri-Z-Air in areas that are smaller in your home like your Closet,
Attic, Under the stairs etc. If your trying to Dehumidify a 1,500
sqaure foot home, you will need a full blown electric dehumidifier
to do the job adequately. If you are trying to dehumidify one or
two rooms, a Boat, RV, or Trailer, Dri-Z-Air is an excellent choice.
You will need to purchase 1 Dri-Z-Air unit for every 10 x 10 space
you are trying to protect.

How do I clean up if some of the liquid spills?
To clean up a spill, use plain cold water only. If the liquid spills
on a carpet, the manufacture reccomends you use a Wet/Dry Vaccum
and Vaccum up all the spills you can. Then soak the spot with cold
water and vaccum it up. Repeat this procedure several times to dilute
the solution. Let the carpet dry and if it stays dry, the spill
has been cleaned up. If it gets damp again, repeat the procedure.

Our Garage has condensation or moisture in it,
can Dri-Z-Air help?
Absolutely. Garage condensation & moisture damage is more common
than you think. Garages are typically where you store your sporting
goods and other in-frequently used items. If you park your car in
the garage after it rains, moisture and condensation comes in with
your car and typically end up on the floor. This moisture has to
go somewhere. If you store anything in the garage, especially your
Golf Clubs, moisture or condensation can cause these items to rust
or even worse, cause mold or mildew damage. Help prevent moisture
damage and put several Dri-Z-Air's to use in your garage or storage
shed to protect your valuable items in storage. It's worth the small
investment and piece of mind.

Desiccant to the inside of your tool box. DRIERITE will not corrode
any metal. We do not reccomend using Dri-Z-Air products inside tool
boxes as there is the chance that the liquid will spill and cause
corrosion. This does not happen with DRIERITE Dessiccant bags.
