My Blankets have Mold or Mildew on them, Can
Dri-Z-Air help?
Absolutely. We carry two products that can assist you in removing
excess moisture from the air safely and effectively. If you store
your Blankets in a closet or storage trunk, you most likely have
poor air circulation and excess moisture can build up and cause
mold or mildew in your Blankets. We carry popular non-electric dehumidifying
devices which remove excess moisture from the air. Helps prevent
Mold or Mildew from growing on your blankets or clothing.
Closets and Blankets Mold and Mildew
If you store your Blankets in a closet, place 1 Dri-Z-Air unit
on the closet floor. Closets generally don't have good air circulation
which can lead to condensation build up. Dri-Z-Air will remove excess
moisture from the enclosed environment which will reduce the amount
of moisture which can cause mold or mildew damage in Blankets. It's
non-electric and odorless. You'll be surprised at how much moisture
collects in less than 1 month. Helps prevent Mold or Mildew from
growing on your blankets.
Storage Lockers, Trunks and Blankets Mold and Mildew
If you use a storage locker or trunk to store your Blankets, Clothing
or Formal Wear, use 1 or 2 - 8 oz packages of DRIERITE Desiccant
in the storage container prior to closing the trunk or locker for
the season. Our 8 oz packages of desiccant are ideal for enclosed
areas and safe to use around Blankets, Clothing or food items. 2
packages of desiccant will last 2-3 months depending on the amount
of moisture in the air. Helps prevent mold or mildew.
